Between 1-3 royalty-free images will be included, along with their accreditation, depending on what is appropriate to the post. Alt text for each will be included.

Each post will include relevant keywords, in-links to other pages on your own website, and out-links to credible, relevant web pages.

Topic Guide

You & Your Business

  • An introduction to your business - Who you are, the journey to launch, what your ethos and brand is all about.

  • What makes your business unique - What top tips should guests know before visiting? What flora and fauna do you have on site? How is your business different from the competition?

How To guides

How To guides are always popular and great for SEO too - they show search engines that you are knowledgeable in your field and are helping visitors to your site answer their pressing questions.

Ultimate guides, beginner guides and tutorials are all popular formats.

FAQs & Interviews

Do you have a list of FAQs around your business?

Is there an industry leader that you have, or would like to interview?

Why not let me rewrite these into blog posts?

The Local Area

  • What are the Top 5:

Places to Eat Out - Your recommended restaurants, local farm cafes or even the pub in your village. What are the hidden gems your guests need to know about?

Sites to Visit - World heritage sites, National Trust houses or perhaps the local beach - showcase the local places that are worth a visit.

Local Activities - Cider tasting, willow weaving, alpaca walking - let your visitors know the fun things to do when they come and stay.

Each of these are an excellent blog topic and well worth including if you want to encourage visitors to your site. Other ideas include - the best dog-friendly pubs, the top seaside strolls, or perhaps - the top 5 rainy day activities.

Events - Food festivals, concerts, farmers' markets - the list is endless. Whether it's an annual, or weekly event, promote your local area in a post.

Product Launch, Workshops or Events

  • Do you have a new product launch coming up?

  • Are you running a new workshop?

  • Do you have a seasonal event to shout about?

  • Are you planning a competition?

A blog is a great way to promote all of these whilst keeping your website updated with fresh content.

Why Do You Need a Blog?

A blog is an invaluable tool that allows you to build trust with your clients, and tell your brand story in an engaging, unique and entertaining way. But more than that, regular blogs, that are SEO optimised, can increase your rankings on Google, ultimately placing your website above your competitors.

In order to stand out, a good blog should consist of quality, engaging, relevant content that inspires the reader, answers their questions or addresses their pain points. In doing so not only do you begin to build relationships with your website visitors, but you build confidence in them as an expert in your field.

The more regularly you blog original, fresh content, the more search engines will treat your pages as a credible, legitimate source of information, ranking you higher in the process.

But writing blogs is not easy and it can be really time-consuming. It’s not just the creative writing process, it’s researching the relevant keywords, sourcing appropriate royalty-free images, the addition of in-links and writing SEO-optimised titles, meta-tags and alt text, all aimed at increasing your readers’ dwell time. And let's not forget the killer title and crucial call to action.

A blog should be broken up into easily digestible pieces in order to hold the reader’s attention – think paragraphs, sub-headings, bullet-points and those all important images. And what on earth do you blog about? Coming up with new ideas on a regular basis can also be exhausting.

If all that sounds tedious and, frankly, painful, then this is where I come in. I write your blog so that you can spend those long hours doing, well, honestly? Anything else that you choose!

Afterall, time is precious.
